• 1 block of cold pressed watercolor paper 140lb/300gr
• 1 box (or 5 ml tubes and a plastic palette) of extra fine watercolors or gouache colors :
  • 1 lemon yellow
  • 1 gold yellow
  • 1 ochre
  • 1 burnt Sienna
  • 1 natural or burnt umber
  • 1 vermillon red
  • 1 carmine red
  • 1 emerald green
  • 1 chrome green
  • 1 cobalt blue or ultramarine
  • 1 Prussian blue
  • 1 sepia
  • 1 Payne's gray
  • 1 black
• 2 pure squirrel watercolor brushes of high quality and assorted sizes. Not only small brushes - at least one brush of this actual size :
  
  For instance, in France :
  • Dalbe brushes serial nr. 100 "petit gris pur" (fastened with iron wire) nr. 2 and 4
  • or Raphaël brushes serial nr. 803, same numbers
